Bobby grew up in the Boston area and embarked on his Air Force journey right out of high school at the young age of 17. Throughout his career, he served at various bases, including Lackland, Sheppard, Travis, Offutt, and Gunter. As an Aerospace Propulsion Craftsman, Bobby traveled the world, dedicating weeks and months away from family and friends to serve our nation with unwavering commitment.
During his time at Travis Air Force Base in California, Bobby worked tirelessly on the KC-10 Extender Tankers, playing a vital role in their maintenance and operational readiness. His dedication and expertise ensured that these critical aircraft were always prepared to fulfill their missions effectively. Additionally, Bobby’s commitment to service led him on multiple deployments to the United Arab Emirates, where he played a pivotal role in supporting global operations.
At Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska, Bobby and his dedicated team maintained all four of the Secretary of Defense E-4B “Doomsday” planes, ensuring they were always mission-ready. His skills and commitment were instrumental in upholding our national security.
Bobby's final military orders brought him to Gunter Air Force Base in Alabama three years ago, where he took on the role of the IMDS Functional SME, bridging the gap between maintenance data systems and field users. His expertise and leadership were vital in ensuring efficient communication and operations.
At the beginning of 2023, Bobby embraced a new challenge as he transitioned to civilian life, successfully completing the DoD SkillBridge Program. This opportunity allowed him to gain invaluable civilian work experience, preparing him for this next chapter.
